Return Policy (For Service Agreement with Shanmukha Agritec Limited)
- Purpose & Scope
- Definitions
- Return: The process by which the Buyer returns a purchased product to Shanmukha Agritec Limited due to eligible reasons as outlined below.
- Eligibility for Return
- The Buyer may request a return in the following situations:
- The item is defective or not functioning as intended.
- The item is damaged during shipping.
- Product(s) are missing from the shipment.
- The wrong item was sent.
- The item is dead on arrival.
- Return Request Period
- The Buyer may raise a return request within 14 days from the date of delivery, or as specifically mentioned on the product listing.
- The applicable return period for each product shall be clearly displayed on the product page at the time of purchase.
- Condition of Returned Items
- Products should generally be “New” and in original packaging for return.
- Exception: If the product is defective, damaged during shipping, or incorrect/missing, it may be returned even if opened or not in original packaging, provided the defect/damage is documented at the time of delivery or discovery.
- Return Process and Timelines
- The Buyer shall contact Shanmukha Agritec Limited via the provided Toll-Free Number or email to initiate a return, providing order details, reason, and supporting evidence (e.g., photographs).
- Shanmukha Agritec Limited shall acknowledge all return requests within 1 business day of receipt.
- Shanmukha Agritec Limited shall complete the process (including pickup, inspection, and refund) within 5 business days from the date of request, provided all required information and documentation is submitted by the Buyer.
- If Shanmukha Agritec Limited fails to meet these timelines, the Buyer reserves the right to escalate the matter and seek additional remedies, including compensation for delays.
- Refunds
- All approved refunds shall be processed to the original payment method or as otherwise agreed with the Buyer, within 5 business days of approval of the return.
- Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to Shanmukha Agritec Limited’s error (defective, damaged, missing, or wrong item), Shanmukha Agritec Limited shall bear all return shipping costs.
- For returns due to Buyer’s change of mind or error, the Buyer shall bear the return shipping cost.
- Documentation and Evidence
- For claims of damage, defect, or missing items, the Buyer shall provide photographs or other reasonable evidence as requested by Shanmukha Agritec Limited to facilitate processing of the return.
- Exceptions and Special Days
- Any exceptions to the standard return policy (such as during promotional periods) shall be clearly communicated to the Buyer at the time of purchase and shall not apply retroactively.
- Dispute Resolution
- In case of any dispute regarding returns or refunds, the matter shall be resolved in accordance with the Dispute Resolution clause of the main agreement.
- Non-Exclusion of Statutory Rights
- Nothing in this policy shall limit the Buyer’s statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
